Teams Management

Centro Access enables workforce organisation through teams to facilitate improved task management and operational workflow. Teams let administrators group members by function, service zone, or specialisation — and control which types of work each team can receive.

Adding Teams

Create a new team from the organisation dashboard. You will define the team's name, scope, and the categories of work it is responsible for.

1
Go to the Teams section

Navigate to the Teams section within your organisation dashboard.

2
Select "Add New Team"

Click the Add New Team button to open the team creation form.

3
Fill in the team details

Input the team name and description. Assign the service zones and categories this team will be responsible for handling.

4
Set work order acceptance

Determine whether this team should be able to receive and accept work orders directly.

5
Create the team

Finalise by clicking Create Team. The team will appear in your team listing immediately.

Managing Teams

Once teams exist, administrators can add members and organise teams into structures that reflect how work is actually distributed across the organisation.

Adding Users to Teams
1
Locate the team

Find the desired team within your team listing on the dashboard.

2
Open Manage Members

Select the Manage Members option from the available actions for that team.

3
Switch to the "Add Team Member" tab

In the modal window that opens, navigate to the Add Team Member tab.

4
Choose a user and assign their role

Select the user you want to add and designate their role — either a standard member or a team leader.

5
Confirm with "Add Member"

Click Add Member to save. The user will be added to the team and can begin receiving work according to their role.

Organising Teams

Beyond membership, teams can be structured to reflect your operational hierarchy and geographic coverage.

  • Use team service categories to define the types of work each team handles.
  • Establish hierarchical structures by assigning parent teams — useful for regional or tiered workforce models.
  • Designate specific service zones to teams so that work orders are routed to the right group automatically.
